I don't call myself a poet, because I don't like the word. I'm a trapeze artist.

LOMO-MO-MO

www.lomography.com

(try not to spend too much time there.)
  1. Take your LOMO everywhere you go & whenever you go.
  2. Use it anytime — day or night.
  3. Lomography is not an interference in your life, but a part of it.
  4. Shoot from the hip.
  5. Approach the objects of your lomographic desire as close as possible.
  6. Don't think.
  7. Be fast.
  8. You don't have to know beforehand what you've captured on film.
  9. You don't have to know afterwards, either.
  10. Don't worry about the rules.

CLASS

My new photography class has begun and this was assignment #1. It was a mystery assignment where each person in the class drew a piece of paper out of hat with their assignment on it. Some of the projects were:

-a moment in time
-water
-a smile

I got.....A ROCK. Go figure.

Well...the shoot ended up turning out great. It also gave me the opportunity to go ahead and get a shot of the wedding ring for their invitations. A lot of the other pictures will eventually end up on here but if you are impatient and slightly peeing your pants with anticipation (not hardly, but a girl can dream) then go to my flickr...most are on there.

Resize

I have changed a little something on Everyone Needs an Editor. It may not be visible at first but if you click on one the post for today (Feb. 1) then you will see this change. I have started to re-size the images so when you click on them for a larger view, they will appear larger but will fit in the screen. I encourage anyone who comes to the site, all 6 of you, to click on the pictures. I don't think anyone can get the full effect of a photo when it is 2x3 inches.
